Blessed Assurance

This dance came about as a war cry. A longing for something more. Something deeper. Something real. My team played this video at Westminster Abbey grounds where kings and queens of the United Kingdom are crowned. the word says that god is enthroned on our praises, and he reigns over all. he is above all rulers, principalities and powers. My friend Ann wrote that our dance prayer, was a virtual declaration at the heart of the city of London. They also took communion and placed the elements of wine and bread and proclaimed Christ’s rulership “far above all rule and authority and power and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in the one to come.” Ephesians 1:21

This happened just before team went inside Wesley’s Chapel. They went to worship, pray and partner with the Spirit of God to bring heaven to earth. They didn’t realize that it just happened to be John Wesley Day! Holy Spirit is a complete genius. If we are willing to be still and know He is God, He shares the secrets of His heart with us. He leads us beside still waters and asks us to go on great adventures with Him. God is always full of wonderful surprises, and He never changes. That means He will always fill our hearts with awe and wonder as we seek our daily bread. God will always show up, right on time. In his perfect time. No matter what the world says. No matter our doubts and fears, He is God. we are not. His ways are always perfect.

As believers, we hear the words revival thrown around so much these days it almost has lost meaning. There was a woman named Franny Crosby who stood on the very sand where Maria and I danced that cold rainy day. She didn’t reach for fame or a name for her belief in Christ. She served the poor, the afflicted and addicted right where she lived. She loved her neighbor as herself.

What if the heart of this “Revival” we are all searching for is right within us? What if we don’t need to search far and wide, traveling to the ends of the earth to find what is already right in front of us?

In today’s culture, we have in our hands something we have never had at any other time in history! Access to people everywhere around the world at our fingertips. We can love our neighbor on the other side of the world without going anywhere. We can show kindness, love and grace to a world sitting on the edge of their seats in fear, loneliness and confusion. We can pray for those who persecute us right from our computer screens, and release peace into the streams of this digital war zone we are all a part of. What are you waiting for?

If we look into the great moves of the past, they had one thing in common, they had one cry in their hearts…”your will be done God, not mine.” We have entered a New Era. Swing wide you Ancient Gates and let the King of Glory have His perfect way within.
